workshop 1: nature appreciation mini Trek /8:30am - 10:30am

Come spend the morning getting to know some of our hardest working, greenest, oldest citizens (yes, we mean trees!) and learn their hidden secrets. We will trek through a traditional tribal hamlet, up to a beautiful lookout point - overlooking the majestic forest, where the sky is a little bluer and the air a little cleaner. Stretch your legs and breathe some actual fresh air! See what the magic is all about!

workshop 2: Forest art/9:00am - 11:00am

Spend your morning learning a new art form! Forest Art it is an art of appreciating the great artist that nature herself is. Experience how since history nature has influenced famous artists, exploring patterns, colours & textures in nature!

workshop 3: warli painting workshop/ 8:30am - 11:00am

Experience the joy of the forest and learn about this ancient tribal art form by spending your morning at a quaint village hamlet, being inspired by the beauty of Aarey Colony. We will provide all the art materials and the resident experts - you just show up with a smile! This is a chance to truly express yourself - whichever way you want!

As this is an entirely volunteer run citizen event, we will be having an OPTIONAL donation drive at the workshop that will go to the conservation of the green spaces in our city, so please do bring cash if inclined.

Time's running out

Everyday we don't speak up is precious time lost.

Supported by the concerned citizens for Aarey and Academy for Earth Sustainability. Students are encouraged to contact us and see how you can get involved in the movement.
